Volleyball Captures District Title
The Keswick volleyball team captured the 2A District 9 Championship Thursday night with a straight-sets win over Academy at the Lakes – 25-18, 25-12, 25-14.

As a result the Crusaders will host a Regional quarterfinal match on Thursday, October 24, at 7pm. They will learn their opponent on Sunday night when the latest FHSAA Volleyball rankings and championship brackets are released. It will be the Crusaders first time advancing to Regionals since 2015.
In her 31st and final season as head volleyball coach for Keswick, Coach Karrmayne King said in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times, “We played really well tonight. We’ve never really put together a full match. I felt like this was the first full match that we’ve played. Everybody was locked in. It was a great atmosphere.”
