The Varsity Baseball Team advances to the Regional Finals with a 4-2 win vs. Sarasota Christian School.  Jaydon DiFrancesco pitched a complete game and Nick Berryman hit a two-run double with two outs to knock in Caleb Tacia and Ryley Hamilton in a 3 run inning.  The Crusaders added a run in the fourth on an RBI single by Josh Paulton to make it a 4-1 game.  The Blazers threatened in the 7^th with bases loaded and no outs, but a Rogers to Petchonka to Pertkiewicz double play followed by a ground out ended that threat and allows the Crusaders to advance.

The Regional Finals will be on Tuesday, May 16^th at 4:00 pm at Seacrest Country Day School.  A win in Naples would send the Crusaders to the State Final Four for the first time in school history in Baseball.  Thanks to all of the Crusader Baseball Family that have worked, played, encouraged, challenged, supported and been a part of this memorable season.  A huge thank you to Coach Samaritoni and the entire coaching staff for leading this team.  Please pray for them as they prepare for the next round.
