For the first time in 11 years, the Keswick football team has advanced to the FHSAA playoffs. The Crusaders will travel down the road to Admiral Farragut on Friday, November 8. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.
Keswick finished the regular season 7-3, the most wins in a season since the 2007 season when the Crusaders posted a program-best 11-1 record.
The Crusaders are led by seniors Silas Schoel and Tilon Thompson. Schoel, the Crusaders quarterback, has thrown for 1,189 yards, the first 1,000+ yard passing season for the Crusaders since 2015, while passing for 12 touchdowns. Meanhwile, Thompson has compiled 1,023 rushing yards in nine games with a team-leading 18 touchdowns (including three rushing TDs). Thompson also leads the Crusaders with 95 total tackles (10.6 per game).

Last Friday, the Crusaders secured their playoff bid with a 24-14 win over Inlet Grove on senior night.
