At this year’s Gala, we highlighted a few of the incredible people behind the scenes who go above and beyond for our students.

Today we’re featuring Michelle and Mark Trotter, volunteers who helped create Sunshine Math & the Crusader Book Club. These groups give students extra encouragement, support, and confidence in the classroom and are so thankful for the time and creativity the Trotter’s have poured into our students over the years.

Was your child a part of one of these programs? Please share in the comments! 🧮📚

Straight Superiors for KCS Concert Choir! 🎶✨

Yesterday, our Concert Choir received straight Superior ratings at the FVA Choral Music Performance Assessments, an incredible accomplishment!
What makes this even more impressive? They achieved this while deep in rehearsals for The Music Man (opening tomorrow night)! 🎺

Congratulations Mr. Trill and Concert Choir students! 🎼🏆
💕 In honor of Sanctity of Life Month throughout January, our NHS sponsored a school-wide fundraiser to support the Bay Area Pregnancy Center.

$1,042.49 was raised during our donation drive!

We’re so proud of our students for choosing to live out their faith in tangible ways and support families in our community.
Mrs. Dumais and Ms. Kincaid may want to keep an eye on their jobs... 😎
Carson and Ryland Brand stepped into the front office as elementary principals this Friday thanks to a fun win at our Gala’s auction!
They spent the day alongside Mrs. Dumais and Ms. Kincaid leading prayer and chapel, attending meetings, checking in with teachers, enjoying lunch, and even drafting a brand-new proclamation for students and staff (details coming soon! 👀) We’d say they handled the job like pros! 👏👏
✝️ So special! We celebrated our very first elementary Spiritual Emphasis Week this week! Each morning, students gathered in the chapel for worship and teaching led by our high school chaplains, then headed back to their classrooms for reflection and hands-on activities under the theme "On the Road with Jesus."

Students enjoyed fun themed dress down days and even raised $840 to support KCS alumna Cassie Cullen’s ministry in South Africa. 🌍❤️

This incredible week was coordinated and led by junior Nora Steger as her KCS Scholars project. Well done, Nora! 👏🎉
They will head to new owners at the KCS Thrift Center if not claimed by today! #saveasweatshirt #doyourpart
As part of a study on the life of Paul (and his Damascus experience) in Mr. Stratis’ Bible class, students spent a day of being led by a partner while blindfolded.

Through science labs, classwork, and everyday moments, they were reminded of a powerful truth: we may not always understand what God is doing in the moment, but we can trust the One who sees clearly and leads us exactly where we need to go. 💚
The Class of 2026 has spoken, and Senior Superlatives given! We love celebrating the personalities, leadership, and laughter that make this class special. 🎓

Mrs. Rininger’s students took full advantage of today’s beautiful weather and the abundance of oak trees on campus! — because Florida kids love jumping in leaves too!🍂
