It’s officially Florida cold today! 🥶

🔬🧬 AP Research student, Charlotte Sapp, completed lab research at @uflorida last week, examining muscle tissue associated with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Inspired by her brother’s diagnosis of Duchenne’s, her work utilized histology and immunofluorescence imaging to study canine heart muscle samples, contributing to a deeper understanding of neuromuscular disease at the cellular level.

What a wonderful opportunity — we are so proud of you! 💚
Happy 100th Day of School! Wiser, and oh so much older! 👵👴💯

📚✨ Testimonial: Crusader Book Club is celebrating 16 years!

This year, students in grades 2–5 returned to the classics with The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. In this voluntary club, readers explore each book, complete a worksheet, and gather with friends to share their thinking and discoveries.

For many Crusader families, the Crusader Book Club has become a treasured tradition.

One parent recently shared: “I am so thrilled to see my son’s enjoyment of book club. He isn’t as much of a reader as his sister so I wasn’t sure if he would like it. He just loves diving into Narnia.... and is loving the discussion! He likes talking about the excitement (boys love a battle scene!), depth, and symbolism in these great books...and always looking for Aslan. It is amazing to watch!!”

Special thanks to leader Michelle Trotter, and to everyone who helps to make this club possible! 💚📖
🎵🎶🎼 Congratulations to these students (see below) who represented our school at Florida All-State last week! They performed alongside other top student musicians in the state, and under the leadership of many of the best directors in the nation.

We are so proud of their hard work and the way they represented Keswick with excellence! 👏🎶
