Overview
Athletics is an integral part of Keswick Christian School. It complements the academic program and puts into practice the strategies and thinking processes that are presented elsewhere at KCS. Learning to glorify Christ in actions, reactions, thoughts, and attitudes is the goal of the department. The department's building blocks are the development of physical skills, mental strategies, focus, teamwork, and the implementation of these as life skills for developing the whole young person.
The athletic program begins in kindergarten in youth leagues, and continues through activities for alumni. Many former KCS students coach our athletic teams. Youth leagues include four sports seasons. Sports include flag football and volleyball, soccer, basketball, and baseball/t-ball. KCS offers nine different sports at the Junior High level and eleven sports at the Varsity level. Many of our teams have competed at the highest level of state competition, and have provided a great tradition of excellence for future Crusader athletes.
The Keswick Christian School athletic program creates meaningful memories and teaches skills that will help them to be successful in whatever God has for them in their future endeavors. KCS athletics provide fun and fellowship for the entire school family. Exciting athletic events, coupled with fun cookouts, contests, and theme nights help to provide an enjoyable atmosphere to encourage the athletes and coaches.
