Music
Elementary music uses a variety of music types and styles, including sacred and secular, vocal and instrumental, old and new, folk music and art music to develop musical appreciation and skill. The following is an example of some of the content that is covered in elementary music classes: note reading, rhythm reading, music terms and vocabulary, and playing of instruments. Weekly piano lessons are offered during the school day on campus for students in 2nd grade and up. This is a unique program that allows students to study piano with expert faculty in a way that is convenient for parents and is reasonably priced. Elementary music classes meet twice a week.
